What We Do

MEIC has worked with board members to develop the following four strategic priorities:

• Start Up Support
• Talent & Training
• Applied Research, Policy & Trends
• Market Development

MEIC members are invited to join any of the companion Working Groups focusing on these areas. These working groups offer a great oportunity to get together to discuss these issues and establish a network of people in the industry who share similar interests.

MEIC offers programs for our membership for the purpose of partnership, collaboration, research and business development.

These programs include the Mobile Accelerator Program funded by the City of Toronto and NRC IRAP, a workshop series serving to connect companies with talent and mentors and ultimately incubation support; Mobile Forums, an event series focusing on mobile innovation and design; and international outreach to industry events such as the Mobile World Congress as well as international trade missions.
